The renovating continues!

Our downstairs bathroom has gone from a half bath to a full bath... It's almost complete- only some trim work left which in our house apparently means its time to move to a new project... So here are the updates!

Now I say renovations continue because we have ripped apart the upstairs bathroom now... so soon pics of that will be up too!

The Holidays are SOO busy!

We have so much going on! School has been going ok, its just stressful and tiring. I am still looking for something FULL time though. We currently have 2 roomies and a "foster" pup until probably late January or February.. Our bathroom is STILL under construction but within days of being finished and then its on to the upstairs bathroom! We do finally have most of the siding on the house and gutters... so the renovations continue. Tim's step-grandma passed away this week so we have services to add to all the craziness that is already going on. I am working on getting my decorations up but the shoulder is still bothering me... probably because I am not doing my at home thereapy as well as I should be. hopefully I can remember how to post some pics up here! We've already had the Christmas dinner at church and I've got some pics from that as well. Its so hard to believe that it is almost Christmas already! I still have some shopping to do, but what is already purchased is wrapped. Mocha helped of course! tonight I am going to start some cookies, and then hopefully next week I can get my family "food" gifts finished! thats in between appts, and Jury duty starting on Wednesday. hopefully they dont want me. my nerves cant handle driving into wilmington daily! (Guess I should be working on sub plans instead of typeing here huh? Well, thats all for now! hopefully I will post more often.

So it's been a while, and there's a lot of updating to do but I wanted to do a quick post to say:

THANK YOU to all of our veteran's and soldiers currently serving our country. Thank you is simply not enough for all you have done for us.

Of course I also need to thank the family and friends of all of those serving/or who have previously served for standing by and supporting our soldiers as well!

Will the renovating ever end??

We have begun yet ANOTHER home improvement project...Despite still not being done the siding and gutters (we started that over Easter break and its about 96% complete...) . We have moved on to the downstairs bathroom. Our plan is to be able to sell our house as a 2 full bath instead of a 1.5... last week Tim took out the walls, put up some framing and Matt came over and cut a big hole in our floor. Over the weekend a friend of ours did some plumbing and now it is shower ready! half of the ceiling and half of the wall are up.. and I am going to learn to drywall so I can do the mudding and get that to the point where it can be painted, and I am going to put down the floor so the sink and the toilet can go in. LOTS going on. We will see how quick we can get it done. the plan is to redo the upstairs bathroom over the Thanksgiving or Christmas breaks....I'll try and add some pictures when they are on the computer!

On another note I finally get to start substituting this week as soon as some openings pop up. I am still holding out for a full time job opening after Sept 30, but until then I have accepted a long term sub position that goes from October 23 to March 1. at the same school taht called me for an interview only to call back and cancel. should be interesting...... well I guess that is all the updating for now.. Rascal needs to go for a walk.

Welcome to our page!

I figured that it was time to actually start a page... If for no reason other than to just be able to keep track of everyone else! Tim and I are currently living in Delaware, where he works in the city as a high school math teacher/football coach/weightlifting coach. I am going back to substituting after a year with some great kids in the 4th grade. The commute, along with other things was just too much! We are currently in the process of finishing up some remodeling in the house so that hopefully we can move in the next year. Our siding is almost finished, then we just need the carport posts, and gutters. At the same time... our downstairs bathroom is being ripped out and enlarged- hopefully helping us when we go to sell. It's just a bunch of craziness around here so don't expect this page to be updated too often. It will probably be updated when there are breaks with school or if something major happens... (like if I get a call from a school district...)
